Is XWERKS Ashwa legit? Are the ingredients safe? What are some of the benefits of using this supplement?
I'll answer these questions using my experience trying these gummies and covering ashwagandha supplements for over 5 years. Hopefully you can figure out it XWERKS Ashwa is right for you. Let's start with the key deciding factors!
Key Deciding Factors BEFORE Buying
A Quick Look at XWERKS Ashwa Gummies
Xwerks Ashwa Gummies consist of 1,500 mg of ashwagandha per serving. They come in a strawberry flavor, providing you with a pretty average dose of ashwagandha in each serving. This makes it convenient to take your adaptogen on the go with you, but there is a high sugar content in this product (six grams in each serving). XWERKS created this product to help you deal with the stress of everyday life. This includes physical, mental, chemical and biological stresses. XWERKS points out that this adaptogen has been used for more than 5,000 years. It has even shown the potential for increasing testosterone levels naturally according to XWERKS. Ashwagandha can also improve your physical performance and improve your sleep quality.
What I Like
- XWERKS has included a typical amount of ashwagandha in each dose of their Ashwa gummies (1,500 mg). This isn’t a megadose that increases your risk of side effects.
- An ashwagandha gummy makes it easy to take your adaptogens wherever you are.
- XWERKS discloses that their product contains three percent withanolides, which is the active ingredient in ashwagandha. They seem like a very transparent brand. An average amount is anywhere from 2.5 to 10 percent withanolides.
- This is an extremely affordable product, priced at under $20 per bottle.
What I Don’t Like
- The sugar content in these gummies is excessive. Six grams per serving (three grams of sugar in each gummy) is definitely on the higher end when you look at different gummy-based supplements.
- Glucose syrup is used in the formulation of this product, which is an unhealthy, concentrated form of sugar.
- With an average dose of 1,500 mg of ashwagandha per serving, you may find that this isn’t enough for you. However, there are lower doses of ashwagandha out there as well. It’s really trial and error to find your perfect dose. You probably won’t want to increase your dose of this product, because of the high sugar content.
What I Think Could Be Improved
- Opting for less sugar from a healthier sweetener would be a great improvement.
- The formula could be cleaned up a little bit. Other ingredients include glucose, sugar, sodium citrate, citric acid, vegetable oil and spinach powder.
The Scoop on Unbiased Reviews
It’s so important to consider the reviews that exist for a product that you’re considering. Ideally, you want to find unbiased reviews that give you an honest look at a brand and what it brings to the table. XWERKS only had 11 reviews listed on their website for their Ashwa gummies, so we decided to look elsewhere.
Heading over to Amazon reveals that the flavor of this product isn’t as pleasant as one would hope. Some report that it has a very bitter flavor and aftertaste. Also, people didn’t find this product to be as effective as some of the other types that they’ve tried from other brands. It didn’t provide exceptional energy, often resulting in people looking into other ashwagandha options. The high sugar content is another low point in many of the reviews.

What Are Some of the Benefits of XWERKS Ashwa?
XWERKS makes a number of claims for their Ashwa gummies. Let’s look at what this product may be able to provide you with. Keep in mind that most ashwagandha products are meant to be taken daily, but not for more than a few months at a time before taking a break. The long-term safety of ashwagandha still needs to be researched more in depth.
Could Increase Testosterone
XWERKS cites a few different studies on their website that claim the use of ashwagandha can increase testosterone levels in the body. Testosterone is used by the body to build muscle mass, strengthen bones, improve a man’s libido and even balance one’s mood.
Could Increase Physical Performance
The study referenced on XWERKS’ website regarding the use of ashwagandha for peak physical performance takes into account using a supplement of this sort for 12 weeks. That’s an important factor to point out, as you shouldn’t expect to see a major change within the first few days or weeks of starting Ashwa gummies.
Could Reduce Stress and Cortisol
Cortisol is our body’s stress hormone, and the goal should be to lower cortisol levels in order to reduce stress and feel calm overall. Ashwagandha can be used to decrease feelings of anxiety and depression related to high levels of cortisol. Cortisol levels also play a big role in weight gain and muscle weakness.
Could Help with Sleep
Sleep is an important part of managing stress and maintaining peak performance. XWERKS Ashwa gummies can improve sleep quality, according to a double-blind study that looks at the use and safety of ashwagandha. It can take a few weeks before you see the full effects of ashwagandha on your sleep cycle.
The Price is Right on Par with Similar Ashwagandha Gummies
The price of XWERKS Ashwa gummies is very affordable. The cost is currently just under $20 per bottle, with 30 servings per bottle. This is pretty comparable to many of the other ashwagandha gummies out there, but there are some higher-dose, more expensive products that make this one of the more affordable options.
